Summary
Jane was taken prisoner and then traded to the Alliance Empire.
She is forbidden from seeing her human family unless she marries an Alliance man and has a hybrid child.
She refuses to marry as she still grieves for the separation from her family on Earth. That is until Jim messages her that her best friend has moved in with her family.
To ease the pain, she agrees to an Alliance telepathic medical procedure that suppresses her emotional attachment to Jim. The Alliance doctors caution her that she should be mindful of her choices, as suppressing so much of her memory could lead her to make new choices she might regret when her memories resurface. Unfortunately, Jane does not heed their warnings and behaves in ways she would have never done before. She even begins a torrid love affair with the Alliance Admiral of the Fleet. A man who is over 200 years old.
Follow Jane in her strange experiences onboard the Zuin and then the Kzi in the mighty Alliance Fleet. This audiobook begins on the same day as Drusilla’s marriage to Ket. It’s recommended you listen to Married to the Alien Admiral, Renascence Book 1 or Married to the Alien Doctor, Renascence Book 2 before listening to Married to the Alien Admiral of the Fleet, Renascence Book 4, but it's not necessary to listen to all the audiobooks before jumping in.

Gripping
I really enjoyed this book, the story was exciting and kept me hooked to the end, however I did find the FMC Jane to be overly stubborn and the admiral Jay had endless patience with her. I really liked the Gods meddling and can't wait to see what the get up to next! I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

I cried at the end of this.
This audiobook was very difficult. And again I am listening to these all out of order, so I don't know if the rest of you listening to these in order knew that Jane missed her family so much? I was rooting for her so much and then it happened. However, it's the year 2635 so I'm assuming there's medical technology to bring her back somehow and that's why she's a goddess that everyone still talks to in book 6. Come on Ms. Nilsson, you have to bring Jane back. I want her to beat the living daylights out of Jei. What has he thinking? This is a great addition to the sci fi series. The narration is good and story is compelling, but be warned it ends sadly for Jane. But this is science fiction, I think she is coming back or why else would she talked about so much in book 6. Now I need to continue going backwards and meet Babette. She sounds a bit annoying, but there's always two sides to every story....
