About this listen

Armed with new knowledge, Alex is confronted by ancient conspiracies.

After going to hell and back, Alex Roth has gained knowledge about the Traveller, Thameland’s cycle, and the hidden priests that serve Uldar’s will.

Anticipating his identity being discovered sooner or later, he plans to make himself so famous and indispensable to Generasi that the priests would not even have a prayer of dragging him into the war’s frontlines.

With newfound power, he and his companions seek to prove themselves once more in the Games of Roal, all the while Alex expands his business empire, grows stronger and researches his foes.

But those foes are not idle.

Ancient alliances are renewed, and revelations about the truth of Thameland’s cycles will change Alex’s role in his kingdom, his school, and even in his own life.

Forever.

There's only two words that I can use after reading this book.

Those simply being the words the book are ended on. "Oh Fu-". For real, the cliffhanger in this book is so cruel and amazing.

good

good book. good series. good twist. good progression. lots of characters. odd little bit of meta commentary tho if the gold tooth thing is a problem, just have some ravaner punch hearts out or something. a gap tooth smile might suit him better anyways.

OMG ITS SO DAMN GOOOD!

What? you want more convincing? fine.

things pick up straight from book 6, followed by the usual slice of life and great character interactions that ive come to love about this series. Baelin is always a scene stealer with every word he says.

we see our main cast absolutely decimate the games of roll. followd later on to see how strong they've become.

That ending tho...I almost want to read on and not wait for book 8 to come to audio.

5/5 great story.

Another good book

I am happy with the story so far and enjoying the books over all. I would strongly recommend this series to anyone who hasn't tried it yet. My only problem is the ending. I could scream. how could you end it like that? I hope the next book is not to far away I don't think I can wait to find out what happens.

No Noo Nooo, it ended too soon

First off it was a great set up by the author in keeping Baelin out of universe since he's so powerful that it would've been too easy and lack of stakes. By him not being there the struggles felt more real + he wasn't just unavailable for no reason and had a good reason previously set up.

Secondly (Spoilers)
I was honestly expecting the god to be either the ravener himself or the god was dead and being controlled by the ravener. Turns out he's just dead but it ended so quick! I need more answers. Can't wait to read the next book

Lackluster but decent

great narrator, but this book has the least amount of actually exciting and fascinating content, of any of the books
