Summary

Discover the true power of NLP, reprogram yourself for success, and influence people like a pro!

You’ve probably heard of neurolinguistic programming, or NLP.

But how much do you really know about it?

Do you believe that NLP can be a source of empowerment for yourself and the people you care about?

Or are you nervous about NLP because "programming" sounds a lot like "brainwashing"?

Or do you think that NLP is a useless theory that sounds fancy but doesn’t do much?

It’s true that NLP is both very straightforward and very broad.

It studies the thought patterns of successful people so that others can imitate them and achieve the same level of success.

It studies how people create their experiences of life.

It empowers people by modifying their behavior, for example, curing procrastination or improving emotional stability.

And it can also act as a persuasion technique.

This audiobook will give you a broad overview of the entire field of NLP, with a special focus on its persuasive power. You will find lots of practical techniques and exercises so that you can start applying NLP at once, without having to dig through long theoretical explanations.

Thanks to this audiobook, you will:

  • Get to know the truth about NLP and stop believing the myths and misconceptions surrounding it
  • Gain a deep understanding of people’s behavior (including your own)
  • Apply NLP techniques to boost your mental health, your academic or job performance, and the quality of your relationships
  • Learn and practice techniques of manipulation, persuasion, and deception
  • Get inspired to learn more about NLP and continue working on your persuasion skills

Even if you don’t want to influence other people, it’s always a good idea to improve yourself, and NLP is a very useful toolkit for self-improvement. So try it, you won’t regret it.

Are you ready to master the power of NLP?

Very poor

Better titled as ‘a history of NLP’... Very reparative and very boring... Nothing practical here whatsoever

Don’t believe the hype...

Got this audio book because of the 5 star rating. After listening for an hour, it’s very clear this is a basic introduction to NLP. The narrator seems to have an up-and-down tonality, which gets very annoying very quickly. I’m not sure if the narrator is intentionally speaking in this manor as a form of NLP, but it definitely doesn’t work.
Also, if you are familiar with NLP and it’s founders, you would know that one of the founders name is pronounced John ‘grin-der’. It is constantly said wrong in the early chapters. Something you think they would get right.
In conclusion, there are far more practical and in-depth audiobooks about NLP. Don’t waste your credit or money on this audiobook!
