Summary

There's something about this island. Something odd. Like how everyone keeps calling me Mamma or how I'm the first tourist in decades.

And that's before I wake up to a talking chipmunk holding a glass of wine. He says I have something ancient in me, and for once, it's not my creaking joints.

When I finally discover the island's deepest secrets, I know my 40s are about to be fabulous, if only I can survive long enough to enjoy them.

Quite good

Got this for free. Wasn’t too sure at first but after 10 minutes I was
Hooked. I now need to get the next one. It was so nice to enjoy a fantasy style story that doesn’t have a traumatic teen finding out who they are and their destiny. Quite funny in places. Worth a listen.

Seemed to have no plan....just wandered and got more outlandish as it went on.

Although I listened all the way through, i thought this was a very amateurish book. Had it not been a " freebie" I would have been annoyed . Very disappointing listen.
