Mia and Dante
Dante is planning revenge for the death of his father for which he blames Luca Lorenzo. So first he plans to marry Luca's daughter Mia whom he had not seen for some time. But now she was all grown up and beautiful. Mia had had a crush on him for a long time and agrees to the marriage, not knowing why he wanted to marry her. This starts a train of events with drama, suspense, anguish and eventually love. Great story!.

Where is the actual story?
Oh boy, where to start.. The two things I had most issue with were 1) she knew who had intentions of harming her husband and family, who she apparently loved but thought not to tell him. In a mafia scenario I can't imagine a family member ever making such a dumb decision for an equally dumb reason. 2) there was no grovel. I couldn't believe it when she finally found out his motives and forgave him the next day. I feel like half the story is missing. I assumed from the title that she find out what he was up to, escaped while being pregnant and then we get a whole chase and grovel act. None of that happened. Shame.

Mafia Boss's Surprise Baby: Alpha Mafia Daddies
My first experience with Kira Cole and I liked(ish) it. The story had all the requisite circumstances a story with these tropes should have and the characters were portrayed as they should have been for their age, but nothing in this story wow’d me. It wasn’t unique in any way. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but for me, it was just there. I listened to it and I didn’t not like it but I wish it had more depth or even some element of surprise for the reader, and by reader I mean me. *shrug* This was also my first experience with both narrators, and they were pretty good in my opinion. Serena Moon and Ryder Wolfe played their parts really well but when it came to playing others, they fell a little short.

I love a mafia story and this one was an easy listen. I loved the chemistry and unwavering love Mia had for Dante.

Loved the dual narration of Ryder Wolfe and Serena Moon
Dante is the new Capo of the Ricci family . Enzo his after his father was murdered.. Dante believes his killer is Luca Lorenzo.
Dante is shocked that in his father’s will one of of his wishes is for his son Dante to marry Luca’s daughter Mia.
Four years ago, when Mia was seventeen, Dante was 31 when he saved her life. He goes to Luca to discuss the marriage he sees how Mai has grown into a beautifully woman. She agrees to marry Dante as she has secretly been in love with him since he saved her life.
These two do not have your normal problems Mia’s immature and lets jealousy, makes her unable not talk her thoughts and fears out with him.
Dante sees Mia as a way of getting revenge. Because of how she feels and unable to speak to Dante Mia keeps information she heard about who killed his parents from him.
Also Mia knows this lifestyle can kill. Can these two learn forgiveness and find a true live together.
