Summary
Twelve men went missing....
Six months later, they awake from drug-induced stupors to find themselves locked in a lab. On the night of a new moon, 11 of those men - possessing new gifts of speed, strength, and inhuman powers - break out of their prison and race through the streets of Los Angeles. They disappear one by one into the night.
Mika Lenna - a powerful dream traveler and head of Olento Research - wants to control the world. To do that, he must create an army of assassins. Capturing the 12 men was easy, as was experimenting on them while keeping them in drug-induced stupors. But now, all hell has broken loose - wolf-like men have been spotted across the nation, leaving fatal attacks in their midst. Mike must tear every city apart until his invaluable werewolves are back under his control.
The Lucidite Institute's main mission is to save the world from injustices. Their best agent, Adelaide Lewis, needs to find these mutated men and protect them and society, and fast. Adelaide realizes that she has to find the alpha wolf. Only once she's located him can she stop whoever is behind this experiment to create wild beasts out of human beings.

Great start to this series!
A unique story with werewolves unlike any I’ve come across. Loved the blend of sci-fi and paranormal. Great characters and an engaging story with plenty of action and a good dose of humor. Fantastic narrator, she has unique voices and accents for each character and really captured their personalities. I received a free review copy of this audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Science made everything possible.
Twelve men of various backgrounds were abducted, drugged and experimented upon. When they finally emerged from their comas, they discovered themselves changed, imprisoned and, in addition to developing super powers, each felt the wolf inside which, weekly, took possession turning them into werewolves. Ren Lewis''s daughter, Adelaide, is tasked with finding and helping these altered men as well as discovering why and by whom they were experimented upon. And to assist her, she is partnered by an FBI agent, Ros, an American, another Dream Traveller almost impervious to physical hurt even if she does look overly girlie in high heels, short skirt and loads of make-up. She and Adelaide resent each other even if they must work together and constantly bicker and throw catty jibes at each other as they try to find the werewolf men.
This is a fun thriller set in the world of Dream Travellers and Middlings and the Institute formerly fun by Ren, who has been dead for a year or so. Characterisation is fair as the reader is introduced to three of the newly made werewolves as well as both Adelaide and Ros. Sadly, the constant bickering between the two women does move from amusing to tedious as the book progresses: the rudeness which Ren could get away with does not sit so well with his Cockney voiced daughter: a simple lack of gravitas. But the story is intriguing and the werewolves not the usual stereotypes. Narration by Elizabeth Klett is well intoned and, mostly, well paced although there are occasional editing glitches where reading mistakes have been corrected but not removed. Her accent for Adelaide is also fairly good: Cockney is not as easy to perform as is often thought but Ms.Klett does it well.
This was a good beginning to what promises to be another enjoyable series by author Sarah Noffke. Primarily aimed at the Y.A. audience, it is a read for all ages who prefer their thrillers to be gentle and original. My thanks to the rights holder of Made to Kill, who, at my request freely gifted me with a complimentary copy of the Audiobook.

Not bad
I’m not sure about this one, only because it was very slow at the beginning. When it got going I had an idea of what to expect so I will definitely be giving book two a go. Recommended listen.
