About this listen
Never let yourself get comfortable, because life is always waiting to throw you a curveball.... Quinn Riley’s life is finally back on track after being completely off the rails. She wouldn’t exactly classify her life as normal, but it’s a new normal for her. She has a new group of loving friends, including the apparition of a young woman who was good at knowing when she was or was not welcome. Yes, Quinn certainly feels great, but that feeling won’t last. Someone needs her help, and it may just put her in harm’s way all over again.
Eleanor “Ellie” Jameson escaped. She got far away from the man who tried to break her. Now, however, she’s staring at the bleak walls of a jail cell, accused of a murder she didn’t commit. There’s no way she could be found guilty for a murder she had nothing to do with. After all, she firmly believed she was innocent and innocent people don’t get convicted, right?

Excellent follow up, so so narration
A super storyline, entertaining and involving, It deals with some difficult issues of spousal abuse and control well. Ellie escapes from an abusive relationship only to be arrested for his murder, luckily she was best friends with Megan, psychic Quinn Riley's ghost companion who convinces Quinn and her friends to take up the case. An excellent intriguing mystery with great characters, lots of paranormal elements, a dangerous enemy, romance, mystery and mayhem. Loved the story, unfortunately the narration did not really due the story justice, the delivery was a bit stilted, it was difficult to distinguish many of the characters as they sounded the same, Book 1 had a different and better narrator, still the story itself makes it worth sticking with, I received a complimentary copy from Storyorigin and an leaving a honest voluntary review

Great second book.
I really enjoyed book 1 so I was eager to start book 2 . Quinn is just getting her life back together and enjoying her time with Caleb when Megan comes to her for help . Ellie was abused mentally and physically by Tony she escapes but is arrested for his murder ,it’s obvious she’s being framed and Quinn and Leah are out to prove it . I really enjoyed listening to this the twists and turns kept my interest .
