Summary

Sera is usually a good girl. (Except for one wild night in the back seat of a stranger's car!) But what happens when that bad boy turns out to be her new boss?

And what happens when he wants more than one night...and he can be very persuasive...?

Undecided

So I am undecided about this narration. I am enjoying the story but the narrator, as much as I enjoy her narration, sounds very British for a woman who was born and bred in Johannesburg, South Africa. in fact, I was quite surprised when Joburg was mentioned because in other parts of the book they talk about getting paid in Dollars (South Africa works in Rands), they talk about running miles (South Africa works in kilometres) and then they mention another non-South African unit of measure. It just throws me, as a listener from Joburg. This is the reason for my rating.

LOVELY LISTEN 3 Stars ⭐⭐⭐

This is a nice listen although it took me about 6 times to start it, I felt like it took ages to finish listening. The narrator did her job well. I am relieved that I didn't spend a credit though, it was FREE TO LISTEN the Plus Catalogue included membership.

Awful performance

Omg I tried and tried to enjoy this. The narrator pronounced the words incorrectly, didn’t get the accents to expressions correct… she spoke in hyperbole all the time, no softness. Also the posh British accent for a joburg setting was ridiculous.
Maybe the book would’ve been better if the narration had been different.. who knows!
