Summary
Ariel Kimber is a 17-year-old girl who has recently discovered she is no ordinary girl. She's a witch, and she's got magic. Her world is turned upside down with this discovery and the recent death of a parent.
She struggles to learn the way of the world of magic while mourning for her hideous mother and trying to find her place amongst her coven. It's not easy being the only girl with seven guys, and she works hard to get to know them all because they are her coven, whether she likes it or not.
This is the second book in a series. It's reverse harem and slow burn.

Loving the series!
Another great read in a fantastic series, an emotional rollercoaster and action packed. I couldn't put it down, I was hooked from the beginnning, and can't wait for the next book, Melissa Schwairy does a fantastic job narrating.

Such a good series!
I love how the story progresses and we get drama with Chucky and Uncle Quinton. We see how Ariel's relationship with the guys grow at a natural pace and with some it's quicker than with others. This is also what makes the story really good since not all the guys develop a relationship at the same time. This is very well thought out by Mary. I am a fan of this series and I recommend you read or listen it.

Story
Oh...my...gosh!!
There will be spoilers so read at your own risk. 😜
This is the second book and the story picks up right where the first one left off. I really loved having this story without Ariel’s mom in it (Or I guess I should say aunt?! 🤯🤯). There were quite a few twists in this book that I did not see coming.
I enjoyed learning more about dash in this book and hearing more about his past and how much him and Ariel have in common. I am also really loving Quinton more and more as the series is progressing. I hope that he doesn’t let the attack that he feels is his fault eat him up too much inside.
I gave this a four star instead of five because there were a lot of things that I found repetitive and annoying. One example of a few, we were told in the first book that she used pain as a way to combat crying. We don’t need to be told every time she does it why. There are very mundane things that are explained over and over that don’t need to be.
I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request from audiobooks unleashed, and have voluntarily left this review.
