Summary

After the sudden death of her father, Ada inherits Something Sweet - a struggling sweet shop in Swindon that has been around since the 1950s.

In enters cross fit-loving Daniel, who has come into a small fortune and has his eyes on Ada's shop, keen to buy it out and turn it into a gluten-free cafe.

A heart-warming tale of discovery, twists, and turns, including a Poochon puppy named Potato and a trip to Florida, this audiobook will transport you to an adventure to show you that when life turns sour...love is the only remedy.

This enemies-to-lovers romance is more than it appears, with a cozy story line and some unexpected twists to keep you on your toes. Will Ada resist Daniel's charm and save the shop? Or will Daniel end up with more than he bargained for?

A sweet, clean, contemporary story

This is the first story I have heard/read by this author. This is a sweet clean read/listen. Admittedly, the main characters at times did annoy me - the lead female character especially, was a bit more dramatic than what I generally like but she was spunky & not shy about being forward. - just very dramatic at times. Narration took a little getting used to but I feel that it was well done overall.
