Summary
Aislinn Hennessy pens tales of courage, loyalty, and true love, but her heroes of old are pure fantasy - figments of her imagination. She long ago gave up thinking a knight in shining armor would sweep her off her feet, but then, she never expected to run him off the road, either.
Sir Dougray Fitzpatrick has buried one wife and vows to never love again, but destiny has other plans for this 16th-century Irish lord.
During a battle, a mist separates Dougray from his men and casts him into the future. Dougray must return to Dunhaven and to his century, but Aislinn follows him into the mist, leaving him no choice but to take her home with him.
Conspiracies, feuds, and unexpected violence are commonplace threats, but along the way, Aislinn and Dougray discover a surprise neither one expects: a chance for love even when they're lost in the mist of time.
Author's note: Enjoy Dougray and Aislinn's story again or if you're listening to Lost in the Mist of Time for the first time, enjoy the magic!

Can't believe believe this could a film.!!!
I love the having really Irish reader who convince you are part of the journey . Yes I think writer was dead inspire by" Golden Hollywood" flims storys but yet get way in making it her own, think 1920s -1960s such Brigadoon (1954). Been worn that you to hear right to the very end. But yes this turn in film even though most based mixture of "Golden Hollywood" storys. Now got me listen to more Karen books as well reader Andrew.

enjoyed the story
Enjoyed the story but AJ is soooooo annoying. All she did was fight with Dougrae.. She picks up fights on everything he says or does. She is soooooo aggravating I didn't know if I was going to finish it as I thought i had another 10 hours of her irritating and annoying character. She wasn't pleasant at all. But I persevered and after another hour of listening she started to get a bit better and the plot kept me going. In fact the next 7 hours were brilliant
The narrator was good I liked his Irish accent.

Enjoyable
This book snagged interest from the start. Not only that it held my interest till the end. Longer books tend to drag for me but this book did not have that problem. I am already downloading another book from this author in hopes of liking it just as much.

Engaging time travel fantasy in Ireland
I thoroughly enjoyed this time travel fantasy which includes mystery, history, traditions, customs, action, intrigue and betrayal as well as romance. It has a sound storyline with highly descriptive narrative and the characters are well developed. Both Aislinn and Dougray have endearing qualities but likewise annoying ones. They are both extremely stubborn and, whilst they have the ability to communicate well with others, they struggle to do so effectively with each other so it takes them a long time to realise that the passionate love which they have for each other is actually reciprocated. Andrew McDermott’s narration of the Audible book is excellent and really brings Karen Michelle Nutt’s book to life.

Dissappointed.
The story was spoiled for me' the reader rendering left me irratated , his voice for the old lady sounded like Yoda. Because of the reader sounding as if he was just reading and not performing, it was difficult to connect with the characters.
