About this listen
Lord John Grey, a lieutenant-colonel in His Majesty’s army, arrives in Jamaica with orders to quash a slave rebellion brewing in the mountains. But a much deadlier threat lies close at hand. The governor is being menaced by zombies, according to a servant. Lord John has no idea what a zombie is, but it doesn’t sound good.…

Awful narration
I would return this if I could but bought on a sale offer. I appreciate the fantasy world of the Outlander series and the research of the time, but this left a lot to be desired and was further dragged down by very poor accents.

A complete howler.
Poor story line based on some sort of Brontë type form of English prose. The attempt at an upper class English accent by the American reader was appalling. As a Scot I just gave up when a Scottish character was introduced with an accent which resembled a 1930s Hollywood lassie movie which I found to be just downright offensive. Avoid at all costs!
