About this listen
When you’re nearly killed by a hit man, why not move to a mysterious island to become a mail-order bride?
Liz Sanders’ only goal is to run as far as she can from her life in New Jersey. She’s been fired from her job, and her sister Nancy has been arrested for hiring someone to kill her for the insurance money.
Longing to start a family of her own, Liz decides to become a mail-order bride. Her groom is Marcus Lawson, a rich man who is handsome and open-minded. She has an instant connection with Marcus, but fails to jell with his wealthy friends. Liz is much too strong and opinionated to fit in with gentle ladies.
Will Liz be able to find a place on the island, or will she have to escape...again?
This is a mail-order bride romance that contains a minor element of fantasy. There is no cheating, no cliff-hanger, and a happily ever after is guaranteed!

Brides
I enjoyed listening to Bethany Kay, her narration was perfect.
If you want a short ,but very well written book, to listen to this is the one.
Liz has gone through a lot fired from her job, finding out her sister Nancy has been arrested for hiring someone to kill her for the insurance money. All she wants is to escape, so she decides to become a mail-order bride.
The attraction between Liz and Marcus is instant from the start, the problem is Liz finds it hard to fit in with his friends. Can the two of them work it out.
A lovely listen
