First Class.
Each tale a total delight from an author who truly understands the lives and emotions of women’of a certain age’ regardless of class, education or social standing.

Every story is a joy.
Jenny is both a brilliant writer and narrator. I love all her books. This collection of stories is fab. Some read by other narrators but all superb with some lovely twists and some funny narrative. Loved them all.

Loved this audiobook
I adore Jenny Eclairs writing. Listened to this all in one go as I completed tasks at home. Some chapters appear in little lifetimes but I didn’t mind hearing them again.
Anything she writes will get my attention x

Do not buy this!
Do not buy this if you have bought Little Lifetimes it’s pretty much the same stories which are excellent however don’t need to be owned twice!

Loved this well crafted story.

Brilliantly written!
These short stories are a fabulous observation of humanity. Brilliantly written in a way that entices you in and keeps you till the end which is presented as a carefully crafted punch line. Funny, poignant, real and very relatable.
Having the author and a fabulous actor read the book was icing on the cake.
