I adore Jilly cooper and read this book when i was a teenager. I wanted to listen to reminisce and this version didnt disappoint. i enjoyed the narration, Impgen Church is great and I'm now a huge fan. She manages to encapsulate all the characaters.so well.I looked forward to going to bed a little earlier so I could listen in comfort and was sorry when it finished. Highly recommended.

Not my favourite narrator but the stories are as ‘Jilly’ as one can expect. Perhaps not quite as gritty as her longer novels though.

Oh dear…. The stories are outdated but obviously written in a different era.
I loved them as a teenager. The narrator is so awful, the whole book is ruined for me.
