About this listen
It... is... later... than... you... think! Radio's premier showcase for heart-stopping horror is presented in this collection of 20 great episodes of Lights Out! Produced, written, and directed by broadcasting legend Arch Oboler - and starring Boris Karloff, Mercedes McCambridge, Dinah Shore, Gloria Blondell, and more - these tales are devilishly devised to keep you up all night!
Radio, more than any other medium of popular entertainment, is an ideal vehicle for dark tales of dark deeds. Perhaps that's because the greatest fears in the back of our minds are the terrors we can't see... the murky musings made all the more horrific by the fact that we can never stare them in the eye.
The 20 digitally remastered and restored episodes include: Organ, 05-12-37; Uninhabited, 12-22-37; Cat Wife, 04-06-38; It Happened, 05-11-38; The Devil's Due 04-26-39; What the Devil 10-06-42; Revolt of the Worms 10-13-42; Poltergeist (Gravestone) 10-20-42; Mungahra (The House Is Haunted) 10-27-42; Bon Voyage 11-10-42; Mister Maggs (The Chest) 12-01-42; Scoop (Cemetery) 12-08-42; Knock at the Door 12-15-42; Valse Triste 12-29-42; The Fast One (Speed) 01-05-43; Protective Mr. Drogan (Big Mr. Little) 01-26-43; Until Dead (The Luck of Mark Street) 02-02-43; He Dug It Up 02-09-43; They Met at Dorset 02-23-43; The Ball (Paris Macabre) 03-09-43.

A refreshing listen.
Enjoyed this. It's nice to hear something from times before pollitical correctness ruined everything. The old-time radio adverts are also interesting. Great listen!
