An easy listen - lots of twists
I find this author really easy to listen too and love how the character development has occurred over this and the last book… I will definitely purchase the next in the series

Gripping! Gytha kept me guessing right til the end
Having listened to the other booked in the series recently I was delighted to hear that another one was soon to be available. With every read I'm instantly taken in - whether I'm running/driving/baking/walking + listening it's always such a pleasure to drive deep and discover a new and exciting plot. Just when you think you've worked out who the killer is, there's another twist and turn and you're guessing again. Totally gripped right til the last sentence, and I didn't want it to end!

Full marks
I had to give this book five out of five. So much better than the audible books I’ve been listening to of late. Great story-lots of twists and turns-good, well developed characters. Narration was great. Well worth a credit.

Good Suspense
Another novel full of suspense and gripping twists and turns by Gytha Lodge. With warm believable characters. The narration was great and better on this one than the last book, the different characters were more discernable. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Brilliant full of suspense series
This is the third instalment in the excellent well written series that centres around detective Jonah Sheens and his colleagues. Wonderful characters with a lot of twist and suspense. Superb narration. I can’t wait for the next in the series.

Another great read
I did enjoy this book but didn’t find it quite as gripping as the other books in the series. The story was a bit implausible I felt and little errors referring to Michelle as Jonahs ex wife and getting the name of the forensic scientist wrong ( Janet McCulloch instead of Linda) make me think that boom had been written hurriedly without adequate proof reading. I did enjoy but felt is is a four star listen rather than the five stars that I gave the previous two.

A good listen
I really enjoyed this book and the narrators were terrific. I’ve dropped a star because towards the end it seemed a bit drawn out and the plot somewhat convoluted. However, I certainly recommend — overall a good listen.
