Summary
Since that fateful day when couldn’t save his best friend, Liam Hayes had coasted through life, going from one deadly mission to another, not caring if he lived or died. His only goal is to protect his team members and those he cares about from getting hurt—even if it costs him his life. Then he is reunited with the one woman he cannot have, who has dogged his dreams, beating back the nightmares, and changing his future.
Princess Taamira of Eyan no longer trusts anyone in her life, apart from the man that saved her when her own family abandoned her. Liam is everything she isn’t—loud, obnoxious, and has little regard for her royal status. Yet, his blue eyes hold her captive and his presence builds a warm cocoon of safety around her heart, breaking down her carefully erected barriers.
Liam is frustrated when he’s given responsibility for the Princess, a woman who is demanding, haughty, and too damn good for the cockney wide boy, but she lights a fire in him he thought was long dead. When the Princess once again becomes a target for those who want her dead, Liam will protect her with this life once more but this time the stakes are higher, the rewards so much sweeter.
Smashing down the walls between them with honesty, they begin to build a future paved with truth, love, and passion. But when you’ve lived in a den of vipers such as Taamira has, it’s only a matter of time before one of them escapes and this time, the bite might be fatal.

Amazing story
Another wonderful story in this series.
It captivated me from the very start.
Liam and Taamira are worlds apart they lead very different lives but their worlds continue to collide when Taamira needs protection.
Taamira is the princess of Eyan her world is very oppressive and woman don't seem to matter in her culture and she is fighting for better treatment and rights for the woman in her country. So she is seen as a threat and her privacy keeps being breached she finds she can't trust anyone, only one man and his team Liam Hayes.
Liam is a cheeky cockney lad who is hiding behind the grief of his best friend,Taamira is always calling upon him for his expertise and he sees her has a diva always demanding and using her title to get what she wants. But he has a secret affection for her and knows deep down she is not what she seems. So when he is ordered to go and help her to find the person who breached her privacy and protect her, then he does just that no question.
These two have so much sexual tension and they seem to rub eachother up the wrong way but that is all a bravado of how they really feel about one another.
And oh my heart I was surprised to find Liam's story to be emotional I shed a tear or two towards the end.
This is another romance full of action the narration by Carl Mason is Fantastic I enjoyed his voice very much and he was the perfect Liam.
This is an Excellent story written superbly by Maddie Wade and I am really relishing this series eager for the next book.
Brilliant.

Great addition to this romantic suspense series!
What would a princess need? A white knight! Liam is the only person Princess Taamira of Eyan feels safe with. Having saved her once, he has been the man of her dreams, but the unpolished, loud and disagreeable. How can she even think about him? Liam has been assigned to watch out for the Taarima. He can't stand her attitude and isn't looking forward to this mission. But there is definite chemistry that cannot be denied. They each bring the best out in each other. Maddie Wade has crafted an amazing romantic suspense around these two. Taamira is a strong woman, but there are people around who cannot be trusted and have put her in danger's way. Liam is a protective man, his love and strength over those he loves comes first. This is a fantastic addition to the series.
Carl Mason is new to me, and I think he is the perfect fit as Liam. He has a slight rasp, and incredible strength to his voice. He then can add a lilt and warmth bringing his love to the forefront. I enjoyed my first performance by him

Liam
Loved the narration of Carl Mason
Liam is the only person Princess Taamira of Eyan feels safe with. He has been the man of her dreams, since he saved her. The two of them are opposites , Liam is unpolished, loud and disagreeable. Liam sees her as entitled and has attitude. Once again Liam finds himself being assigned to watch out for the Taamira . One thing neither of them, can get away from is the chemistry that cannot be denied. They also bring the best out in each other.

Liam & Taamira
Another great instalment in the Eidolon series. Liam, the cheeky cockney everyone loves finally meets the woman that makes him want to be and to do better; Princess Taamira has lived through a horrible ordeal and can only trust Liam to keep her safe when old daemons come back to haunt her.
It was great to have some more tidbits of the developing story that is making the team jump. Although the personal developments of the team members is great, I’m really intrigued with what’s to come if the big story that’s been brewing since Alex.
Can’t wait to keep listening to the rest of the team story’s.
