About this listen
No one wants to spend Christmas Eve snowed-in at the airport—but will it spark an unexpected romance?
It’s Christmas Eve, and school teacher Nia West can’t wait to get to Jamaica for the sun and adventure she’s dreamed of all year long. So what if she’s traveling solo this year? A relaxing holiday alone on the beach sounds like a sweet escape from the usual family drama.
Family drama is something Andrew Beckman knows all too well. Ever since his ex-girlfriend started dating his brother, Andrew has buried himself in work at his veterinary practice. Now he’s on his way to an awkward family Christmas party with the happy couple, and all he wants is to put the season behind him as fast as possible.
When an unexpected blizzard grounds all flights, Nia and Andrew’s holiday plans are put on ice, and they’re stuck spending Christmas Eve at the airport. Soon the pair of travelers decide to make the best of it and team up to spread holiday cheer to the other stranded passengers. After all, just because their flight is cancelled doesn’t mean Christmas is. Now they’re about to discover that with the right person, home for the holidays can be anywhere—and life’s crossroads are the perfect place to begin a new story.

Didn’t blow me away but I enjoyed it all the same. I think the male narrator was really great.

love it
Let It Snow by Michelle Stimpson, narrated with heartfelt warmth by Jurnee Smollett and Kendrick Sampson, is a small but mighty gem of holiday romance that shines with sincerity and festive spirit. This audiobook weaves a tender story of unexpected love blossoming in the chill of winter, beautifully capturing the essence of finding warmth in the coldest of seasons.
Jurnee Smollett brings a genuine depth to her narration, her voice echoing the nuances of emotional discovery and personal growth that her character experiences. Kendrick Sampson matches her with a compelling presence, his tone both soothing and invigorating, embodying the hopeful and transformative spirit of the holiday season. Together, their performances not only complement the storytelling but elevate it, making each scene resonate with listeners on a personal level.
Michelle Stimpson's writing is both charming and insightful, balancing lighthearted moments with poignant reflections on love, life, and the unexpected paths we find ourselves on. The story's setting, amidst a picturesque winter backdrop, adds an extra layer of magic to the narrative, making every moment feel like a peaceful snowfall—unique, quiet, and beautifully transformative.
Let It Snow is indeed a holiday gem, perfect for those who cherish romance novels that offer both sweetness and substance. It's an ideal companion for a cozy night in, wrapped in a blanket, as the world outside mirrors the serene and snowy wonderland of the story.

A bit cheesy
Definitely not one of my favourite books. It's very cheesey but I managed to get to the end nonetheless 😀.
