Summary
Detective Superintendent Roy Grace, creation of the CWA Diamond Dagger award-winning author Peter James, faces his most engrossing case yet in Left You Dead.
Niall and Eden Paternoster start their Sunday the same way they always do - with a long drive, a visit to a country house and a quick stop at the local supermarket on the way home.
But this Sunday ends differently - because while Niall waits and waits in the car park for Eden to pick up supplies, Eden never returns. She’s not waiting for him at home, and none of their family or friends have heard from her.
Gone without a trace, Niall is arrested on suspicion of her murder. When DS Roy Grace is called in to investigate, it doesn’t take long to realize that nothing in this case is quite as it seems....
Left You Dead is the seventeenth thrilling crime novel in the Roy Grace series. Enjoy more of the Brighton detective’s investigations with Dead Simple, Looking Good Dead and Not Dead Enough.
Now a major TV series starring John Simm.

Possibly the best yet!
I think this may be the best in the series featuring DI Grace. I guessed a major part of the twist early on. That didn’t spoil my enjoyment though and, as the story progressed, there was so much more than I expected. I was gripped throughout. I very much look forward to the next offering by Peter James.

Best in series!
This has got to be the best Roy Grace book yet. Lots of fast paced action, and moves the story along loads. I can't wait for the next book.

Spellbinding!
Great performance by narrator.who delivers us with an Intriguing plot. Peter James does not disappoint in his latest Roy Grace thriller. It is an audible that you just have to keep listening to .A mixed bag of mirth, sadness and suspense as Grace is forced to confront personal tragedy alongside solving a mystery, forcing him to juggle home life with work. This Audiobook deals with the everyday lives of ordinary people, and the issues that unexpectedly present themselves.Well worth a credit for hours of enjoyable listening!

Great Book
Really enjoyed this book as most of his others. But look out for many references to sayings, song lyrics and sayings! All make a good point but you begin to wonder if their is a theme going on here. As with all books it could quite easily be shortened by a vast chunk. With whole chapters nothing to do with the story, some call it rounding the story and building the characters. I call it filling out. But that is just me! Greet book. Enjoy.

Great read
As a British Detective I am very critical of British Police crime books. I love the Roy Grace series, they are accurate and PJ has nailed the 'cop's camaraderie.
