Short but good
The author has written a nice, touching story of three generations - it is short, but you do get to see some depth in the characters. I think a few more short stories of this calibre and she'd have a great book. I didnt love the narrator - would have preferred a British narrator who know how to pronounce Loughborough!! However, that is a minor detail - as the content of the book is well written, gripping and enjoyable - just a litle short and would be nice to have some more short stories added to make an anthology.

Good story but very short
The story is good and the idea of 3 generations being intensified is also nice but the story is too short to be remembered or even talked about

This story follows three generations of women who have drifted apart since the loss of their beloved husband, father, and grandfather. When a fall lands 84-year-old Catherine in the hospital, her granddaughter Chloe and daughter Kirsten come together for the first time in a decade. This is a heartfelt exploration of grief and the healing power of family bonds.

Family and Forgiveness
This poignant novel chronicles the lives of three generations of women grappling with the enduring impact of a shared loss. When the matriarch, Catherine, faces a health crisis, her estranged daughter and granddaughter are unexpectedly reunited. Their forced proximity ignites a journey of emotional reckoning as they confront years of unspoken grievances and the enduring power of family ties. This story deeply resonated with me, offering valuable insights into the complexities of family relationships. By witnessing the characters navigate grief, communication breakdowns, and the importance of forgiveness, I was inspired to address some long-standing issues within my own family. The novel's emphasis on the healing power of family bonds has encouraged me to cherish my own loved ones more deeply and to prioritize open communication and understanding within our family.
