Summary

Garrett, baron of the Cinque Ports, has sworn his allegiance to King Edward III to keep the channel safe and secure from marauders. But while on a journey heading to Great Yarmouth for a well-earned respite, he comes across the pirate ship that has been evading his capture. When he boards the ship, hoping to overtake them with his men, a storm at sea leaves him stranded alone with a ship of pirates.

Echo is the daughter of the infamous pirate Captain Powell ap Llyr. She has been raised aboard the ship of cutthroat men, trying to live up to her father's expectations of being the son he never had. But when a handsome lord is trapped aboard her ship, she knows she cannot let him die at the hands of her father and the crew. And when she finds out who the man is, she helps him escape for reasons that may benefit herself as well. But once on land, things take an unexpected twist, and she needs to pretend she is a lady.

Will they continue the guise, or will the Lord Warden's visit strip one's title and send the other to the gallows?

Love and honor clash as a nobleman and a pirate fall in love and face the most difficult challenge of their lives.

Lady of the Mist

I don’t know what to say. I have just finished the audible book of
Lady of the Mist. In fact I have listened to the whole series of The Blade and this is the last. Wow, I can’t describe how much I have enjoyed it. The story starts with a Nobel family whose Mother is due to
Have her baby and then delivers twins. Unfortunately she dies and the twins are stolen. The Father was then killed in a war, and the daughter who was about three years old wandered off and was lost to the family.
The story tells the tale of each child now they are grown. Their relationships and how they find their siblings. Absolutely riveting. The narration was excellent, and the story was wonderful. Thank you Miss Rose for writing this masterpiece.

Good listen

I enjoyed reading this intriguing romance story of mystery and action that is well written with beguiling and witty main characters also wonderful sub characters. Their story has a wonderful HEA. A strong woman who could change, that came alive on the pages. Sea battles written that you can actually visualize. I love how echo is a bit rough around the edges and isn’t very ladylike at the start but she does try her best.

One brilliant story after another

One brilliant story after another. This is the 4th and last book of the series Legacy of the blade. I couldn't stop listening. Some parts made ne laugh. I listened to one book a day. I loved that the characters of the previous books were mentioned in every story. Kevin Green is a brilliant narrator and makes the story even better. Definitely worth a credit. Now on to the next series, Daughters of the Dagger.
