Das Buch stammt von Bernd Roewer, der sich in anderen Hörspielen auch mit prominenten Detektiven und ihren Schöpfern auseinandersetzte, wie etwa Poirot und Agatha Christie, Sherlock Holmes und Arthur Conan Doyle oder Raymond Chandler und Philip Marlowe.
