About this listen
I didn't ask for her as my bride. I just made her mine.
Her father had to be taught what happens when you cross a King, but that isn't why Genevieve Rossi is sore, well-used, and waiting for me to claim her in the only way I haven't already.
She's sore because she thought she could embarrass me in public without being punished.
She's well-used because after I spanked her I wanted more, and I take what I want.
She's waiting for me in my bed because she's my bride, and tonight is our wedding night.
I'm not going to be gentle with her, but when she wakes up tomorrow morning wet and blushing her cheeks won't be crimson because of the shameful things I did to her naked, quivering body.
It will be because she begged for all of them.
Publisher's Note: King's Possession is a stand-alone novel which is the third entry in the Merciless Kings series. It includes spankings and rough, intense sexual scenes. If such material offends you, please don't buy this audiobook.

Another great book from Piper.
Yet another fantastic book from Piper. I love learning more about the characters in the series they are harsh brutal and caring men who have their dark sides. Thomas really does give these characters their personalities with a beautifully gruff voice I could listen all day.

King's Possession.
Loved the book it was awesome, the story was about Lucian and Genevieve. This Merciless King's series book three. This story was about Lucian forcing Genevieve's father that his daughter Genevieve will be payment and Lucian will be her husband, Genevieve was promised to someone else her father would gaine a substantial deal. Lucian was not happy who she was promised to he was cruel and when he is finished with her he would give her to his men or kill her. Her marriage to Lucian was hard he was trying to be cruel on the wedding night he wanted revenge. What is he to do when feeling's come into it without them realising. When Lucian's house was broken into and she is kidnapped. While Lucian and his brothers have a meeting, things do not seem what they are supposed to be. Lucian ends up missing the call from his wife and she sounded stressed, can he make it home in time before she is taken?
I absolutely love Thomas Locklear's voice as the narrator, he does an amazing job, but that voice in a Mafia story sets it off, it brings heat to the nether regions.

Possession
Thomas Locklear is a great narrator , brings the heat into a book and perfect for the voices of both male and female characters.
Genevieve Rossi find herself forced into marriage, to Lucian King because of her father’s betrayal. Genevieve is strong willed and wants to have a life of her choosing and she challenges Lucian on every turn. The chemistry between them was hot! There was also a good dose of betrayal, suspense and action .

Lucian and Genevieve
Before reviewing Lucian's story I have to say that this is a non-spoiler review so I won't be going into detail about the book except to say that it is not in any way a sweet love story, it's dark because Lucian is a brutal, cruel man who demands obedience, his sexual desires and demands must be obeyed and the punishments he doles out are brutal and sometimes vicious. He does however love his family and will do anything to protect them.
Genevieve's the daughter of a man who betrayed the "King Family" and to keep his life agrees to give his only child as the bride of Lucian. Genevieve is strong and feisty and tries to fight Lucian at every turn but soon realises that he's far too strong for her. As I've come to expect from Piper's stories the hero, if you can call Lucian that, falls in love with his Possession! Whilst Genevieve's love for him teaches him it's ok to love someone and to show it in ways other than violence.
This is a well-written, deeply dark and sometimes disturbing story, it has action, intrigue, violence, betrayal and drama as well as some incredibly heated sex scenes - it is not for the squeamish so if any of this might offend then give this one a miss. If however, you enjoy reading Piper's incredibly hot stories then, sit down, sit back and immerse yourself into Lucian's world and learn how Genevieve's love changed him for the better. Don't get me wrong he's still the evil monster he was at the start of the book but there's no denying the love he has for his Possession.
The narration of this book is wonderfully done by the super talented Thomas Locklear, If you have ever listened to Thomas before you know what to expect but if you haven't then you are in for a treat - his work is always excellent.
I was given this audiobook as a gift and am voluntarily writing my review.

Piper Stone and Thomas Locklear are a great combination!
I’m a huge fan of Piper Stone’s books, but when you add Thomas Locklear’s considerable voice talents, it’s always well-done.
Thomas Locklear does an excellent job giving a unique voice to all of the characters, but he is also exceptionally gifted when it comes to the female voices. He brings Genevieve to life, not an easy task when you’re a male narrator. As you can expect from anything he does, the male lead, Lucian, is equally well-done too.
Lucian is a mafia son, seeking to settle a debt. He wants entrance into the elite diamond dealing business and Genevieve, the daughter of one of the major players in the market as well. Genevieve is young, sheltered, and somewhat naive. She has an artistic gift in pottery, something her father thinks is silly and a waste of her time.
It becomes clear this marriage is no mere transaction. Lucian and Genevieve are attracted to each other at the start, although Genevieve is unsure how should feel given the nature of their arrangement. Lucian begins to appreciate Genevieve’s gift and supports her talent and artistry. The two have to face danger along the way, as the underground crime families are always jockeying for position and power.
If you want gritty, mafia romance with a strong alpha male, this is your book.
