Summary
Past and present weave together in Donovan's point of view for the next chapter in Donovan and Sabrina's life.
She was supposed to save me.
In a twist of fate, I rescued her. Since then, I've lived for her, breathed for her, overreached with my love.
She's still here, so I must be doing something right. But now I want more.
Except, a dangerous secret from my past threatens to come between us, forcing me to confront what kind of man I am.
And whether I'm the one who can save our future.
Or whether fate has other plans for us.
This book should be listened to after the Dirty Duet (Dirty Filthy Rich Men and Dirty Filthy Rich Love). It's not necessary to hear all the other books in the Dirty Universe before listening to this, but it is recommended for a better experience.

Emotional and spicy read with fantastic narration
Laurelin, smashed it on this one. This was a highly anticipated follow up to the Dirty Duet, and it was just what I wanted and more. Of course there’s that element of fear to Sabrina and Donovan’s spice and Laurelin brought her dirty A game. BUT this book also got me in my feels. We see Donovan mature emotionally, fighting so hard to resist his controlling, watching, obsessive ways. All the other couples from the Dirty Universe make appearances, and it was nice to see where they were and to hear what they’d been up to.
Family is a central theme, both blood and chosen. We are shown the strong bonds between Donovan, Cade, Dylan and Nate and how they step up for each other. Donovan’s relationship with his father is explored, and we understand why he’s emotionally immature at the start of the book.
The spice is exciting and passionate and fiery and full of love. Laurelin has a unique way of turning a situation that could seem a bit dubc0n into the need that burns inside Sabrina that Donovan is so ready to fulfil.
Let me just say Chapter 17… hellllllloooooooooo.
It is brutal.
It is beautiful.
It is necessary.
It is them.
Jacob absolutely nails the narration in this book. It’s a single POV, so all we hear for hours upon hours is Jacob. He voices the side characters well and brought all the emotions to his performance. With the actual cracks in his voice, it was hard not to get caught up in the moment and hard stuff these two go through. A perfectly rounded performance that was over far too quickly.
This book hit all the spots I needed it to. I’m always a little worried when I’ve been dying for an author to release a book about characters I know and love, but I should have known I could trust Laurelin to do Sabrina and Donovan justice. This book was the perfect addition to their story and one you won’t want to miss.

Perfection!
Laurelin Paige has really outdone herself with Kincaid! I absolutely loved delving back into Donovan and Sabrina's epic romance, and Kincaid offered an in-depth, fantastic insight into all things Donovan, told from his POV. It was simply unputdownable! Obviously there was plenty of heat, but this blended perfectly with the level of suspense. Jacob Morgan narrated it perfectly. He embodied Donovan and bought all the characters to life. I couldn't have asked for more from Kincaid, and really can't recommend it enough.

Kincaid…the legend!
Fantastically narrated by Jacob Morgan, bringing Donovan to life!
What can I say… it’s Donovan! We friggin love him, he’s a force to be reckoned with, he’s fierce and he’s protective of what’s his, oh and Sabrina is definitely his. To get his POV is a dream come true! The man is a legend in Laurelin’s worlds. Once met never forgotten. Definitely one of the all time book boyfriends.
This is definitely one not to miss out on! A must read. Just loved it.

Brilliant! Brilliant! Brilliant! Need a 6⭐️ rating
Having read the first Donavan and Sabrina books I was really looking forward to hearing Donavan’s voice, as I felt given his complex character it was very much missing from the Sabrina narrated first three books. I was not disappointed. This is definitely the final puzzle piece that is needed to even come close to understanding Donavan.
This is a continuation of the previous Dirty Universe novels, the final book, with all the previous couples in place, This is very much Donavan’s story and is Sabrina and Donavan and how they deal with a few bumps in the road. It’s also the introduction of Holt Sebastian and the lead upto Brutal Billionaire (which I can also recommend).
I love Donavan in this book. He’s obsessed yes, and serious, but we also get to see his humour, which I think was missing from Sabrina’s story (she’s quite a serious character). Donavan seems to realise how ridiculous he is at times, and in this does try to curb his enthusiasms somewhat. There are two main themes to this book, the personal thing that happens between Sabrina and Donavan, but also the final reckoning between Donavan and his father and how he finally cuts those ties.
I still find Sabrina irritating, and still don’t fully understand why she does what she does in this book, but I love them as a couple, and I love, love, love Donavan. In this he’s funny, and cute (the scene with Diillon and the twins is both cute and funny). This is a much softer Donavan
Finally huge round of applause for Jacob Morgan. This is a masterpiece in narration. His nuances, the way he delivers the lines, the feels, and the humour is on point. He even does a decent English accent(Dillon)! Absolute masterclass in narration. I’m sorry I’ve finished it, and want more please.

Kincade is my favorit
First of. I have always connected Jacobs voice to Weston King, so i was abit fearfull, that i would mix it up in my head. Dont know why i felt this way. Because Jacob made a FANTASTIC Donovan. There is just enough dark sarcasme in his voice that he WAS Donovan. His tone in the inner monolog was spot on.
Oh Donovan. You beautiful, strong big emotionel man, You are showing your big strong beating heart in this book. And what a heart it is. Every woman should strife to finde a man just like you. One who loves just as strongly and big as you do.
I always said that out of all Laurelins heroes, Hudson have always been my favorit. Im sorry old guy. Donovan has beaten you off that space. This man has taken the price.
when reading this book I felt like all the loose ends was finally pulled together in that nice big bow that is the intire Dirty universe. And we really get that insite in Donovans brain. How he copes how he works. What makes him tic, what makes him explode. But most of all it is his loyalty and love for his closest. Even his father, that he is so conflicted about.
This ending was just what Sabrina and Donovan needed to be complete. No wonder she loves him so much.
