A touching story, read very well indeed.
This story come's alive in one's mind, the voice over is done so well, I love his English in 'Japanese accent'.
The music added a bit of flavor to it and all in all a really touching story, read very well indeed.

Great adventure story
Our family loved listening to this story on a road trip. The great thing about a boom like this as it is so much tighter than a novel for adults and therefore enjoyable for everyone.
Review from my 8 year old son : Very good. A bit emotional, which is good. I enjoyed the survival story.

Brilliant
I loved this book for how it portrayed how long Michael was on the island for and how intense some of the chapters are. For example, the chapter Killer Men Come was so intense and emotional and stressful from how Morpugo portrayed it. The story was well done as well.
All in all a compelling story of determination, survival and emotion.
