About this listen
Penguin presents the audiobook edition of Keep You Close written by Karen Cleveland, read by Erin Bennett.
A strange sensation runs through me, a feeling that I don't know this person in front of me, even though he matters more to me than anyone ever has, than anyone ever will.
You go into your son's bedroom. It's the usual mess. You tidy up some dirty plates, pick up some clothes, open the wardrobe to put them away.
That's when you find it.
And you realize a horrifying truth...
Your own son might be dangerous.
Keep You Close is the chilling, relentless new thriller from the bestselling author of Need to Know.

Hhmmm
Not as good as her first book . A bit predictable and the plot a bit of a cliche

Clever Twisty Thriller
This was a good book and I could really imagine it as a TV mini series with its FBI intrigue. It was cleverly put together and I did not see the twist at the end. The narration was also excellent and I thought the characters were well defined. Generally fast-paced thriller. I will look out for this author.

Plodding Narrative Style
This is not a patch on her first book, (Need To Know) The suspense was so drawn out it was exhausting and even became boring. The narration had one setting (intense), there was no light and shade and certain phrases like "let it go and every fibre of my being" were repeated ad nauseum. I'm not sure I fully understood all the threads at the end either. Definitely too long. I'm sending it back.
