About this listen
Mourinho is both a sumptuous celebration of The Special One's managerial career so far, and an enigmatic insight into his unique brand of football wisdom and philosophy.
In the legendary manager's very first audiobook, and in his own images and captions, José Mourinho charts the peaks and troughs of the opening 15 years of what has been a stellar rise to the summit of the global game.

Insightful view of José
Insightful perspective of José , his philosophy on life as well as a football coach , from someone who knew him as a friend as well as a coach of renown

CRACKING READ!
Where does José Mourinho rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
The voice took a bit of getting used to be suddenly you just focus on the content and info and marvel at the magic of Mourinho. Best audio book so far.
What other book might you compare José Mourinho to, and why?
I've generally listened to the old-time classics so this is the first sports book and so it's in a class of its own
What about Ric Jerrom’s performance did you like?
Not sure about the voice or the pace, seemed a bit slow, but soon just centred in on Mourinho and his amazing story.
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Mourinho: The Man behind the Manager.
Any additional comments?
Very good info, quite a few good laughs, lots of facts and figures and plenty of unique insight. José laid bare. I highly recommend.

Poor narrating
I wish the narrator would have learned how to pronounce the names of the sport stars. Really poor effort

Below Average
No real storyline, disappointing that the book doesn't expand on Jose' time at Inter given that a treble in serie a has never been done in the history of football. The author turns the book into small stories about himself and Chelsea occasionally adding a small part of Jose into it. Narrator doesn't know how to pronounce key words, also does really strange accents to distinguish quotes etc.

A great "read" . Shame about the narration.
As a Chelsea fan, I really enjoyed this. Some tasty titbits that I had forgotten about and some that I never knew about. It's just a shame that the choice of narrator was Ric Jerrom. His almost comical attempts at mimicking Jose's accent and his pronunciation of "azaard" and other such attempts at "foreign" names grated after a while.

v poor
gives no real insight into anything. mostly recounts match reviews which are all available online anyway. misleading description. irrelevant bits about Chelsea and also about his journalism career, borderline narcissistic.

A biased Love story of a Journalist and Mourinho
Great if your a chelsea fan and love a biased view of a lot of Chelsea "incidents", more of a vomit inducing love story between the author and Mourinho/Chelsea
