About this listen

This series, broadcast on Radio 4, is an assessment of the Bible's cultural, political, moral, social and personal impact. It is also a personal odyssey for John McCarthy as he questions the chapters he read during his time in captivity and discusses the meaning of truth and what it means to be human.

Very informative and interesting

Very informative and interesting. Even better than I'd hoped for. Not preaching or persuading but thought provoking. Cleverly scripted and audio adds to the story with interviews, songs and sounds
