Joining us from home is American writer Jodi Picoult to discuss her latest fiction novel, The Book of Two Ways.
Picoult, born in New York, has published more than 26 novels and short stories, not including the several issues of Wonder Woman she wrote for DC Comics. Picoult has 40 million copies of her books in print, and they have been translated into 34 languages - to say she is a prolific writer would be an understatement, and she was awarded the New England Bookseller Award for fiction in 2003.
Picoult has been the recipient of much critical acclaim and honours, including joining the advisory board of Vida: Women in Literary Arts, the Alex Award from the Young Adult Library Services Association, the Fearless Fiction Award from Cosmopolitan magazine and the New Hampshire Literary Award for Outstanding Literary Merit.
We caught up with Jodi Picoult to speak about her literary career, moral dilemmas and why her main character's job is a death doula!
