About this listen

Jesper Jinx is eleven, and probably the unluckiest person in all of Puffington Hill. Everything he touches seems to end up in sweet disaster. Hence his nickname "Jinx".

It's Spring time in Puffington Hill, and the most unforgettable Sneezing Season ever for Jesper! In this book, packed full of new wonderfully wicked adventures, you're going to get to know Chloe, Jesper's long time future-girlfriend, and meet a Purple Buzzard from the tropical island of Buzzupurplu. Also, there's Rosie, the grinning Squirrel with an attitude and the infamous Diary Wars.

Warning: This book causes uncontrollable laughter!

Just as good as the first book

My Thoughts
Jesper Jinx is back in the second audiobook of the series, Jesper Jinx and the Sneezing Season. I made a start on listening to this one immediately after finishing the previous audiobook, so I was aware of both the story itself and the narration.

Jesper Jinx and the Sneezing Season was exactly how I remember it, but made even more funny by the narration and the little touches to the story. Like the previous book this has the verbal confidentiality agreement, but there are also fine details in small print, this was portrayed with mumbling that it very indistinguishable, just like fine print can be, this certainly made me laugh and had me straining to really hear what was being said.

Narration
Already warmed up to the narrator I went into Jesper Jinx and the Sneezing Season aware of what the narrator sounded like, and also the timing of his speech. I found myself enjoying Jesper Jinx and the Sneezing Season more than the previous audiobook and I think this helped me enjoy it more, and be less picky about the narration.

Final Verdict
Jesper Jinx and the Sneezing Season was a more enjoyable book than the previous, I think I even liked this more than the book itself. This is another perfect story for children to listen to on short journeys and will keep then entertained.
