About this listen
Three young women, a dance studio, a bungled kidnapping, and a murder.
When Stacie Maroni is mistakenly abducted, she fears for the life of the intended victim. The young woman, who worked at the same company as Stacie, soon turns up dead. With the kidnappers afraid Stacie could identify them, threats lurk around every corner. Add the victims two friends and a tech company with a dance-oriented employee program. A quick lesson in the jitterbug provides more clues as Stacie navigates the twists and turns of the murder.

Love these books
I love these books. Great well written cozy mystery with a twisty plotline that kept me guessing. Starts with a bang great first chapter that grabbed me from the start. Excellent characters including the usual cute pet. Naomi Rose-Mock does a good hob but she leaves strange pauses all through the narration. I received a complimentary copy for the author and am leaving a honest voluntary review.

Stacie needs her dancing shoes to solve this case
This is another interesting case for Stacie and her friends. The book starts of slightly different to the normal books in the rest of the series, which are all worth a listen or read. However it does work as a standalone but you get to know the characters and relationships a lot better when read as part of the series. In this book Stacie is kidnapped and consequently knows somebody else is in trouble, this was a fun start and set the tone and pace of the book. The mystery took lots of twists, as she tries to work out the reason for both the kidnapping and the murder. You do kind of know what to expect with these books Stacie gets in trouble or hurt, her friends all worry about her, drive by's happen, security video's are watched and threats left before ultimately solving the case but it is well packaged to be entertaining and there is always some unusual angle. The main reason I keep coming back to this series is because of the cast of characters, I like joining them on there cases and I can't wait for the next book.
Stacie is kidnapped but when the kidnappers realise they took the wrong person they never expected her to try and find them. The real target was a woman who working in the same building as Stacie and her friends and when her body is discovered, Stacie puts on her investigation hat and dancing shoes in order to find the killer and the secrets the dead woman was keeping.
I liked the narrator. She keeps the story flowing nicely and has a pleasant voice.

such an enjoyable listen
This could be read as a standalone but I feel it is better as part of the series. the group are growing together as a group and the individual relationships.
This one started off with a kidnapping and then got more intense as the crime developed.
the narration works so well and it is always a pleasure to listen to
