Summary

Grab your beach umbrella and prepare for six weeks of romance and fun in the sun with a brand-new series brought to you by USA Today best-selling authors…

Perfect Match!

Six exciting, sweet novellas linked by a unifying theme. You’ll want to listen to each one!

Perfect Match series

Six women receive invitations from Dawson Yates, owner of Perfect Match, a brand-new Online matchmaking travel agency for a free week-long vacation to the island of her choice. As part of an extensive promotional campaign, Dawson expects to make six perfect matches that he can use to champion his business. The women expect to meet the men of their dreams. What none of them anticipates is the chaos that ensues when six couples who were strangers before agreeing to spend the week together discover that love is a lot more complicated than a match made by computer algorithms.

This is Jade’s story…

A romance author without a romance. A Navy SEAL looking for a little R&R. What could happen in a week on an island getaway?

For author Jade Reed, romance is for the books. When her bestie cooks up a scheme for the perfect match on a tropical island, Jade sees an opportunity for a writing experience. Who needs a man?

Navy SEAL Aiden Lin needs to unwind. His mom wants a daughter-in-law. She sets him up for a one-week vacation with his perfect match. He doesn’t need a wife yet, but maybe he can have some fun and make his mom happy.

Neither is looking for love though they’re in the right place. Is it the right time, wrong time, or enough time?

Tropical Island Shanigans!

I absolutely love the synopsis of this story. A romance writer, who writes thriller novel's under a male pen name, a Navy Seal working on his first novel neither looking for love. Can fantasy turn into reality? Perfect Match offers all the ingredients for a romantic fun in the sun read. A swirl of laughter, love, & optimism. Jade & Aiden are cute together with their comical banter & undeniable chemistry which each deny. I enjoyed the narration of this story, however, I felt Aiden's voice could use some improvement. Overall, a well narated story.

Not-so-perfect perfect match!

Both romance writer Jade and Navy Seal Aiden end up winning a paradise tropical island romantic retreat by lying in their profile. (To be fair, it was actually Aiden's mother and sister organising his profile.) Jade appears to be a bratty spoilt woman. Meanwhile Aiden seems to be a brash and cocky Navy man.

However, as Aiden and Jade's real personailities come through and as the reader learns more about them, the more it seems like they balance each other well. It is also evident that they probably would never have met without the Perfect Match situation. Before theycan achieve their HEA, there is the proverbial thorn in the story.

This book is exactly what it appears, a low-key, light, humourous, contemporary romance. It is easy to listen to and overall enjoyable.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Completely hooked on this sweet series!

Who said all thriller authors are male? Jade is a romance author, but she also pens action packed thrillers under a pseudonym. When burnt by her lover, she takes a chance with her friend to win a vacation with "her perfect match" to a tropical island to relax. While she wins, she isn't too excited with her match, the handsome navy seal, Aiden. They butt heads together from the very start and when the two call a truce and decide to make the best of their situation, it's evident there chemistry is strong. It is such pleasure to enjoy a book with such ease of flow of the story. Jade and Aiden are so typical of every day that it is easy to understand all their thoughts and issues, but still sit on the sideline and cheer for their success! I loved the two of them, from the fireman carry up the mountain to the helping plot Aiden's novel. Rachelle Ayala shows us how sometimes fate brings together the perfect match!

Charley Ongel narrates this book with the same ease the story has. She smoothly flows through the many characters, each with their own voice and personality. I loved the performance!
