Editor reviews

Brock and Poole are called back into action with this thrilling murder mystery from Graham Ison. Though murder is hardly ever a simple matter, the most gruesome and complex ones are always saved for Brock and Poole. In Jack in the Box, the two detectives come across a victim who has not only been stabbed to death, but placed inside a box, and then set afire. It's a complicated matter to be sure, and the two set off on a high-stakes journey into the sordid world of London gangs. Performed by Damian Lynch with a sharp delivery, Jack in the Box will have listeners guessing until the very end.
