Zwei Erzählungen aus einer versunkenen Zeit - Zwei Frauenporträts aus dem alten Estland. "Taft zum Kragen" handelt von einer jungen Pastoren Gattin und hat in ihrem gutmütigen Humor etwas das mich an die Filme Lubitschs erinnert.

"Tante Tüttchen" erzählt von einer verpassten Liebe und dem Wandel von Zeit und Moral, nicht ohne Humor aber doch mehr erfüllt von einer bittersüßen Melancholie.

Die ausgebildete Krankenschwester Hueck-Dehio, Tochter des deutsch-baltischen Arztes Karl Dehio, floh 1918 aus ihrer baltischen Heimat vor der russischen Revolution nach Berlin. Sie lebte dann in Berlin, Lüdenscheid und seit 1955 in Murnau/Oberbayern. Ab 1934 verfasste sie zahlreiche Erzählungen, Jugendbücher und Romane, oft mit Themen aus ihrer baltischen Heimat. Ihr Jugendbuch Indianersommer stand 1966 auf der Auswahlliste zum Deutschen Jugendbuchpreis.
