This talks about a vital truth
There's no question that the most successful athletes have very strong mindsets. We are all in the same position. Not that we are competing against others but the only true competitor is ourself, with ourself. Mind over matter. Thanks to the author for creating a book with these awesome reminders!

Gold!
This was exactly what I was looking for to help my sports game mentality, Ive always known that the mind impacts sports just as much as the body if not more and this book truly confirmed that . Really enjoyed the hacks for a winner mindset and looking forward to implementing the action plan and tips I've learned. Highly recommend for anyone who plays a sport.

Learn to control the inner voice
Listening this book instantly allowed me to look inside and realize the issues I had that I never knew how to solve. The thing that spoke to me the most was the importance of focus. Being in the moment is something you hear a lot of successful people talk about and the instructions given in this book allow you to paint a vivid picture in your brain. I highly recommend this book to anyone who competes and feels stuck.

Great book
I try to teach life lessons with my children through sports and how the concepts of sports and sport participation helps ready them for the real world. I'm having them listen to this book as extra homework LOL. Great information and life lessons.

Great Audiobook
This is a great audiobook filled with excellent content and tips, and a reminder of the vital importance of mind power. As a stroke survivor I enjoyed listening to this, and one can apply some of these principles to one's life generally. I played the audio for my sons too who are both big sports lovers and they said they also found the content valuable. I particularly resonated with the sections on routine and adaptability, but everything actually was super awesome! And fantastic narration too.

Loved this!
Such a unique perspective to hear. I think this idea of how mental health and sports are connected is so important to talk about.
Being very focused on mental health, I was very curious to hear what this book had to say. I highly recommend this to anyone with kids in competitive sports, or if you are interested in overall tips and tricks for mental health. These could be applied to a ton of situations.
Great advice! Highly recommend!

This mentality is valuable in all life aspects!
This is it! Exactly what I always say about sports, more specifically when I'm running, and it's only me and my head, trying to achieve the end of the training section. We create so many excuses or reasons to stop achieving a goal because our own minds sabotage us. That's the beauty of the sport, it makes you aware of your capability and persistence to achieve something!

Excellent book for the athlete
I should say it's not only an excellent book for an athlete, but for anyone who wants to achieve something like their first race, or a challenge based on athletics where they might need guidance. So much about sports is about mindset, and this tackles all of the issues most of us face. Not only that, when you can finally find that mindset and see results, it goes far beyond your goal and shows you how this is valuable in all aspects of life. I bought this for myself, but will definitely get my sons to listen as well.

Motivational!
I absolutely loved listening to this book!
Although I don't strive to succeed in sports I do strive to succeed in many other areas of my life. I have been feeling down on life lately wondering how to be more successful, and the answer is mental toughness. This book has taught me so much about how to control my mind power in order to achieve the things that I want.
What I enjoyed the most about this book were the tips on how to stop distractions from sabotaging my progress. This is the area I have been struggling with the most. But not anymore!
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for inspiration and motivation in life.

interesting listen, good narration
I enjoyed this listen on sports psychology.
This book is ideal for someone who is lacking self confidence or the ability to act quickly.
Sports is so much more than physically playing them and requires mental toughness.
I recommend this audiobook.
