About this listen
Winner: Popular Non-Fiction Book of the Year – Specsavers National Book Awards 2012
Well hello to you dear audiobook browser. Now I have your attention it would be rude if I didn't tell you a little about my literary feast. So, here is the thing: Is it just me or does anyone else find that adulthood offers no refuge from the unexpected horrors, peculiar lack of physical coordination, and sometimes unexplained nudity that accompanied childhood and adolescence? Does everybody struggle with the hazards that accompany, say, sitting elegantly on a bar stool; using chopsticks; pretending to understand the bank crisis; pedicures - surely it's plain wrong for a stranger to fondle your feet? Or is it just me?
I am proud to say I have a wealth of awkward experiences - from school days to life as an office temp - and here I offer my 18-year-old self (and I hope you, too, dear listener) some much needed caution and guidance on how to navigate life's rocky path. Because frankly where is the manual? The much needed manual to life. Well, fret not, for this is my attempt at one and let's call it, because it's fun, a Miran-ual. I thank you.

Wonderfully Entertaining
This was my first foray into audio books and I purchased it to listen to after an operation. It was fab - easy to dip in and out of and great for light entertainment when I was feeling rough. Miranda has a wonderful way of describing the world in a way we can all relate to and I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone who enjoys her show.

Absolute amazeballs
Miranda Hart's first foray into autobiography is an absolute joy. Not so much a life story, more a life guide with an older (though not THAT old) Miranda imparting pearls of wisdom to her 18 year-old self , based on lessons learned via hideous (and hysterical) faux pas, mix-ups, fashion disasters and a geneous helping of life's rich tapestry.
This is one book which works even better as an audiobook as Miranda plays both herself today and as a larky teenager to hilarious effect, explaining to her younger self how things don't quite work out to plan (no becoming prime minister or marrying Dollar's David van Day).
It is a genuinely laugh out loud book which perfectly captures the trials and tribulations of growing up (and of being grown up).

A national treasure
I have never watched Miranda, but bought this audiobook as it was recommended to me. I loved it. Made all the better that it was narrated by the author. I will definitely be watching Miranda on TV now.

This truly is such fun!
Absolutely brilliant. Sadly I found some of Miranda's stories far too relatable for comfort but by the end of the book I just didn't care! Her animated and honest narrative made me laugh in public. I hope she and Little M would be proud!

This book is hilarious! There were at least 4 times I had to walk away from it for fear of dying from laughter, once in work which was hard to explain... If you like Miranda, listen to this book!..... FLAPS!!

Stress busting
I really enjoyed this audio book & will return to it again.
So easy to listen to & it always brought a smile to my face!
Not everybody would, I feel, be so enthralled by it. Guess it depends on "ones" sense of humour.
I discovered it when exhausted & even tired with life....wonderful, easy humour. THANK YOU.
