A fantastic insight is what it takes to be great!

When I first picked up 105 Full Iron Distance Triathlons in a Row, I wasn’t sure how Sean Conway could possibly keep readers engaged through 105 Ironman triathlons. However, the book quickly proved to be an insightful journey with failure, resilience, tears and friends that are required to achieve greatness. I only wish it had been longer!

Sean isn’t just an inspiring figure—his grounded, approachable personality shines through, making him very relatable. In his retelling of the tale, he not only focuses on his own goals but also celebrates those around him, showing genuine appreciation for the support and encouragement of his Snowball.

For me personally, Conway's story resonated, Sean even inspired my 10-year-old to embark on his own endurance challenge. Sean created a whole new category for achievement, and I’m thrilled to say that my son now holds his own ‘youngest’ title. Thank you for the great read.

A great tale of an epic adventure

I wanted to thank Sean for taking the time to write and read his story of completing this huge challenge. As an accomplished runner, sharing my adventures through my channel (The Random Runner) it takes alot to inspire me... I followed Sean's journey mostly through Strava, checking each day with wonder at what he was achieving which spurred me on through my daily training... I would find myself saying 'come on, you can do a few more km, just think what Sean is doing!!'
Anyway, a really great story, funny and informative and definitely worth a listen.

Sean is a legend!

Sean Conway’s audiobooks are a true masterpiece for anyone with a spirit for adventure. His storytelling is gripping, and every book captures your imagination, pushing you to think bigger and bolder. After reading his previous books, I was inspired to set off on my own adventure—starting with cycling LEJOG and now on a journey from the UK to Australia by bike.

“IRON 105” is a fitness breakthrough of our generation, standing tall alongside achievements like Roger Bannister’s sub-four-minute mile. Conway’s relentless determination and passion for pushing boundaries have made a huge impact on me, both mentally and physically. Whether you’re an athlete or just someone looking for motivation, Conway’s books will move you and inspire you to chase the impossible!

I followed this online, like i do with any of his adventures. Its great to get more back ground to the whole thing. Well written, and well narrated by Sean.

The Terrior

Sean comes across as a very humble guy. He shows how despite the enormity of the challenge it was one day, one task at a time. He talks of the 10 pillars required and how important each is to keeping going etc He identifies 2 distinct parts of his character the Terrior and the Monkey and that is both interesting as well as insightful .. fabulously logged so we the less adventurous can be inspired to get up and get out👏👏👏
