About this listen

It's no wonder that introversion is making headlines - half of all Americans are introverts. But if that describes you, are you making the most of your inner strength?

In this book, psychologist and introvert Laurie Helgoe, PhD, unveils the genius of introversion. Introverts gain energy and power through reflection and solitude. Our culture, however, is geared toward the extrovert. The pressure to get out there and get happier can lead people to think that an inward orientation is a problem instead of an opportunity. Helgoe shows that the exact opposite is true: Introverts can capitalize on this inner source of power.

Introvert Power is a blueprint for how introverts can take full advantage of this hidden strength in daily life.

It’s okay. I wouldn’t recommend it over others in the same category. Didn’t connect with the narrator.

Hit or miss

Listening to this amazing book has helped me understand me a lot better. So many events I can recall in life all the way back to my childhood are making a lot more sense to me now. Same with how I act as an adult and what I enjoy and dislike. Highly recommend this book.

Fantastic book!

This is an interesting and useful book for introverts. For me the biggest problem is the recording where you can hear a lot of gross mouth noises. This really distracts from the content and the overall message of the book. The narration itself isn't bad, it could be more engaging, though. It really is the mouth noises that reduce the quality and enjoyment of the audiobook.

Interesting, but needs re-recording
