Summary

"The greatest adventure of my life has been to follow the call of God."

For more than 50 years, Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke's ministry has ignited the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the globe with signs of healings, miracles, and crusades recording multiplied millions upon millions of decisions for Christ. Behind the machinery that powered Bonnke's crusades into phenomenal success is the little-known story of Peter Vandenburg.

A fiery agnostic, Peter had a dramatic conversion and became a musician and a minister of the Gospel early in his Christian walk. But it was his engineering and auto-mechanic background that would define his legacy and contribution to world evangelism.

Into the Unknown is a true life Gospel adventure testimony of a life dedicated to pursuing God's purpose. It is a story of risk, danger across treacherous territories, miraculous and supernatural intervention, divine provision, and above all, God's faithfulness.

About the author: Born in Zimbabwe, then Rhodesia, in 1947, Peter, his wife, Evangeline, and their three children traveled the world, from South Africa to the UK to America. After seven years of evangelistic ministry with the Gospel group Rufaro in the UK, he joined Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke at Christ for all Nations in 1981, where Peter currently serves as executive vice president, helping to plan and manage hundreds of open-air evangelistic crusades as well as ministering the Gospel message.

Foreword by Reinhard Bonnke: Jesus spoke of the "pearl of great price" in a different context, but in Peter Vandenberg's book, I found a beautiful pearl in an oyster. This amazing story shares how he and his wife, Evangeline, probed their trust in Jesus, long before our ways intertwined. It is a life story that glorifies Jesus most wonderfully.
