I am just starting in the world of sales and this was so helpful, not just for my work life but I will try these tactics in my personal life too. I particularly liked Derek's pace at which he reads and the method and communication skills he mentions make so much sense when you understand a bit more about the psychology behind it all. I have a lot to learn about the mindset of a customer but I feel that this is a huge step forward. And who knew body language has such an impact!

Really worth getting this.....has many little golden nuggets and practical techniques easily usable by anyone in any walk of life - not only sales. Easy to understand and well read, written and some really valuable research on the techniques being used.

Inside the mind of sales is a really fascinating audio book. It is well narrated and it covers way more than the conventional sales books. It goes into much greater detail on lesser known techniques. The author does a great job of covering multiple aspects of selling and advanced communication and how to become a successful sales person using these advance techniques. The author also goes into great detail about the mind works. There are numerous examples of how powerful our minds are and how to best train the mind to become successful in both sales and in our personal lives. Overall I really enjoyed listening to this amazing book which covers so much and in such great detail. It's ideal if you are a beginner and the more advanced salesperson will benefit too. If you are in sales or want to persuade and influence people in business then this audiobook is a must.
