Another riveting collaboration by Stasia Black and Lee Savino, the two authors make an unbelievably great team. The storyline is dark, intense, sensual and utterly engaging loaded with unexpected twists and turns. The main characters are three-dimensional, fascinating, intriguing, and with depth.

Cora is beautiful, naive, innocent in the ways of the world, and hidden within her is an incorruptible inner-strength. Marcus is enigmatic, powerful, and cunning with the classic alpha male tendencies. Together, their romance is a passionate whirlwind, enthralling the listeners/readers.

Jack Calihan's performance is beyond outstanding. He is exceptionally talented, who hones on the very essence of the narrative and characters, bringing is all to life for the listeners. His telling will sweep you away and draw you into this story. I can't wait to hear the rest of the series!

This was a gripping, emotional read. I loved the way the characters were portrayed. But be warned if you want a sweet fairy tale romance, this isn't it!
Beautifully gritty and deliciously twisted.
Loved it and Jack Calihan brought it to life brilliantly.

This book was amazing. It was also a heart wrenching emotional rollercoaster! There has to be more because I can not accept the ending. LOL

Jack is one of my absolute favorite narrators. His deep, sexy voice brings so much life and passion to the books he narrates. I just love everything he does.
