Summary

Beth “Fire Ant” Dalisay is the Navy’s top ace.

But the alien Crystals really don’t care. They intend on wiping out humanity no matter who stands in their way.

Pulled from her Wasp fighter, the Navy assigns Beth as a scout pilot with a mission to find the Crystal’s home world. But in an underpowered Mosquito scout and no weapons with which to defend herself, if she finds their home system, can she possibly survive long enough to report back to Navy HQ?

In a final clash between humanity and the Crystals, can one pilot make a difference? Can humanity survive?

A very good finale to the great 5 book series!

A real nobody to fanatics hero and one where it's not the usual beefy, hyper-jock male space marine but a normal, down-to-earth girl makes good neuvo-filipino girl that makes it through the rakes picking up promotions and some of humanities most prestigious awards and still manages to stay approachable with an ah-shucks, characteristic and a real "team-effort" nature about her. A genuine feel good series with believable plot lines an a likeable protagonist and supporting cast! Well worth it considering the 1st two books are premium plus titles and the last three only costing two credits. TBH it has left me wanting to have the story continues. Written by a real USMC Col - RET who's been there (not in space of course) and knows how things work and chooses a female lead, all too few.
