Powerful story, excellently told!
If you could sum up In No Man's Land: A Ghost Story in three words, what would they be?
Vivid, Touching, Gritty
What about Jake Urry’s performance did you like?
Jake Urry shows a lot of promise with this short story. I think he is a new narrator but he handles this very well and has a very listenable voice - I hope he narrates some longer stories and will keep an eye out for him in the future.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It was a strong telling of one man's struggle through a much covered event in world history. While it's hard for a writer to be original with this kind of historical material, the author manages this with vivid and sometimes daring imagery.

Great story and fantastic narration
Jake Urry is so easy to listen to and I loved the changing accents. At times the storyline was heartbreaking and I had a lump in my throat at the end. This will appeal to many people, not just those interested in war as it also explores relationships and mortality. A big thumbs up from me for my first audiobook and I'll certainly be looking to expand my audio library in the future.
