About this listen
Sweetpea TV series starring Ella Purnell coming out on Sky Atlantic in October!
She’s back and killing for two…
Rhiannon Lewis should be happy.
Her cheating fiancé is in jail – framed for the depraved killing spree she committed. Her ex-lover is chopped up and buried where no-one will find him.
But there’s one small problem. She’s pregnant.
And as much as Rhiannon wants to continue working her way through her kill lists, a small voice inside is trying to make her stop.
Now Rhiannon has to choose – motherhood or murder.

Absolutely gob smackingly brilliant!!!!!
I really hope you read the first book Sweetpea, prior to this as In Bloom is a brilliant sequel!
At times you cringe with the violence, but most of the 'victims' deserved it. Additional bonus, our killer is an animal lover. I can't recommend this book enough for all of us with a dark sense of humour!

A nice follow up novel
I loved Sweetpea which I read when it first came out, the first book in this series and found the main character Rhiannon amusing and terrifying all at the same time, so I had been looking forward to a sequel. As sequels go this is a rather good one, there are points in the middle where the story felt a bit slow and I definitely thing there the author could have raised her game a bit because there was no way the second novel was going to have the same shock factor as the first purely because it was the first. I did enjoy this book, I just wish it had been.... more.
An enjoyable listen, and the narrator does a fantastic job, I would recommend but I do feel that maybe I was hoping for a little bit more in the second book.

magnificent!
I was so disappointed at the end of the last book, I almost didn't bother with this one.
I so glad I did, and the beginning completely adjusted how I felt originally about the end of Sweet pea!
I don't think the story is quite as good as the first but still, both are up there in my favourite listens.

Fantastic follow on from SWEET PEA
I don’t know how she does it but CJ Skuse kept me enthralled throughout yet again.
Audible listen is enjoyable as the narrator is so good.
Now to immediately start book 3.

Chef’s Kiss
I have to say I teetered on the edge of this a few times of putting it down…. Not out of lack of interest or bad writing, but I’m a bit of a sensitive sausage when it comes to babies in danger.
However I am sooo glad I didn’t give up on this and definitely pushing myself for the third.
Rhiannon is despicably charming and I find I am gipping at her actions whilst rooting for her the whole way.
The character development in this was marvellous and I thought this was genuinely a thrilled ride! Starting book three immediately!

Brilliant!
A lot more sinister than the 1st book but had to listen to it as the book before ended on such a cliffhanger!!

Wonderful dark, amusing take on a serial killer
I loved the twist of the story from the killers angle. This wasn’t a gory book at all, but an deceptively light read for such dark subject matter. Great one to binge if you love a good thriller, with great narration and pace.

Memorable & Unique
Listened to this and Sweet Pea back to back. Never heard anything like these books, memorable and unique for all the right reasons.
I have to say that the narrator and the books were made for each other, it wouldn’t have been the same without that absolutely fantastic narration. I am thinking of reading the book myself to see how it flows in text form as the narration was so ‘real life’ flowed like a conversation rather than someone just reading it to you.
I loved the hilarious observations made by the main character throughout (the sort you do secretly make yourself in your head when people annoy you and then mentally kick yourself for being such a horrible person) made me laugh out loud.
