Summary
Sheila O'Flanagan's best seller If You Were Me will make listeners wonder: what would I do if my first love came back into my life? A must-listen if you enjoy the novels of Veronica Henry and Catherine Alliott.
You're engaged to a great man. You're on a countdown to your wedding day. You stopped thinking about your first love a long time ago. But what if one unexpected, forbidden kiss were to throw your life upside down?
Carlotta O'Keefe suddenly finds herself wondering if the girl she was would recognise the woman she has become. She thought she was living a charmed life. But what if she's got it all wrong? What if her past is meant to be her future?

Never a disappointment!
Where does If You Were Me rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It's up there with the best of them! I always enjoy sheila O'Flangans books, always well written and thought out
Who was your favorite character and why?
I couldn't chose, all aspects of this book and it's characters are well thought out and detailed.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I enjoyed it from the second I pressed play until the end, couldn't possibly pick any one moment over another! Well worth a listen!

Another brilliant Sheila O'Flannigan story
Don't know how she does it but she does, and brilliantly.
Another fabulous Irish saga to lose yourself in. I loved it!
All her stories just seem so plausible and this is no exception. Heroines with all the flaws of us mere mortals, with just the hint of humour.

long winded
This book would have been so much better if it had a faster pace and a few less words. There is nothing worse than when there is just too much detail. Set the scene but cut out the boring bits please. It has put me off buying another one of her books. Narration was ok.

Predictable
It was a bit of an excuse for infidelity wrapped up in an inevitable ending which detracted from any real romantic ending. Just couldn’t find empathy with the main character who was very self centred and wrapped up in her own perfect life. In fairness her friends and family spelt it out to her that what she did was pretty poor on the fiancé for no reason but it still concluded as you will expect or the book really would have no point at all. Not the best love story for me.
