Summary
Anastasia Allen has worked her entire life for a shot at Team USA. It looks like everything is going according to plan when she gets a full scholarship to the University of California, Maple Hills and lands a place on their competitive figure skating team.
Nothing will stand in her way, not even the captain of the hockey team, Nate Hawkins.
Nate’s focus as team captain is on keeping his team on the ice. Which is tricky when a facilities mishap means they are forced to share a rink with the figure skating team—including Anastasia, who clearly can’t stand him.
But when Anastasia’s skating partner faces an uncertain future, she may have to look to Nate to take her shot.
Sparks fly, but Anastasia isn’t worried . . . because she could never like a hockey player, right?

Easy listen and easy to get into
Really liked both narrators (even though it says different names you can’t convince me it’s not the same gal who does calla in the simple wild!) I liked the story a lot, recommend as a holiday listen: the ending was a little too fairytale but that was the only eye roll I had!

Was an okay read, got me out of a slump
I read this as it’s been hyped on booktok at the moment but it didn’t blow me away. It has gotten me out of a slump and it is a lovely story just wasn’t mind blowing.

Amazing
Absolutely loved this I originally had this a a book it was one of my first that got me back in to reading then I decided to get the audio.
Both narrator’s are brilliant and so easy to listen too.
Loved the story and always a nice happy ending. Can’t wait for the other book to be released on audio
