  • Midsi Sanchez just turned 8-years-old when she was walking home from school in Vallejo, California and her world changed forever. She was kidnapped by a stranger who grabbed her from the street just feet away from her home and forced her into his car. The man, later identified as felon and pedophile, Curtis Dean Anderson, kept her in his vehicle for several days until she made a courageous escape through his car window. A trucker saw her in a panicked state and pulled over to rescue her. 

    Now, decades later, Midsi is finding purpose as an advocate for missing children. She is a guest speaker all across the nation and started the Midsi Sanchez Foundation to support families that are enduring the tragic and painful reality of a loved one who is missing. She is turning her pain into HOPE for others.

    Midsi still lives in California and is the proud mother of a daughter.
