About this listen
…But what if that’s the only thing you can remember?
Komméno Island, Greece: I don't know where I am, who I am. Help me.
A woman is washed up on a remote Greek island with no recollection of who she is or how she got there.
Potter’s Lane, Twickenham, London: Eloïse Shelley is officially missing.
Lochlan’s wife has vanished into thin air, leaving their toddler and twelve-week-old baby alone. Her money, car and passport are all in the house, with no signs of foul play. Every clue the police turn up means someone has told a lie…
Does a husband ever truly know his wife? Or a wife know her husband? Why is Eloïse missing? Why did she forget?
The truth is found in these pages…

A good read
I enjoyed reading this book. However some of the accents were a little annoying and grated in my head when listening. But the story is a good one and kept me engaged.

God idea but ultimately an anti climax
The book was ok but it didn’t grab me the way others have. I would describe it as an ok holiday book but certainly no exciting page turner.

So enjoyed this-until the last few chapters!
Very gripping and intriguing story-line which was well written and well read. The plot was credible and I was so looking forward to the unravelling of it. Then for me it lost all credibility and became very close to absurd for the last few chapters. What a HUGE disappointment. If I hadn't enjoyed it so much for the majority of the novel, I would have asked for a 'refund'.

Enthralled!
I get through lots of books on audible and sometimes lose interest. Not with this one! Great plot. Well written and the narrator’s voice is an easy listen too. Totally recommend.

Excellent male narrator but another case of cringeworthy over acting from the female narrator.
I enjoyed this story. It didn’t set my world on fire but I’m definitely glad I listened to it. The male narrator was excellent. I’m so sick of female narrators overacting. It’s almost all of them. I’m beginning to try to avoid books narrated by female actors that I’ve not listened to before because I’m so tired of the constant over emoting and self indulgent “performing” spoiling good books. Thank goodness in this case she was only reading half of the story. I just managed to grit my teeth and see it through to the end but it’s such a shame.

Really surprising!
The ending was a complete surprise!!! A bit slow to start, but then I was hooked. Engaging story, "cliff hanger" literally and figuratively. I really enjoyed this one! Very clever twists of all kinds!
