About this listen
Piper Skye is rock 'n' roll. She's party all night, sleep all day. She's get wild and be free.
Or she would be if she had the time. And the energy. And not being so awkward would probably help, too.
As the owner of a thriving dessert business, Piper spends her days at school and her nights elbow deep in batter and frosting. She's confident her hard work and sacrifice will pay off as long as she stays focused and sticks to the plan.
Jake Hyde is a workaholic with a jaded outlook on life. Surrounding himself with employees he considers his brothers, he long ago made the decision that his custom garage would be his focus.
Fate, as it often does, has other ideas. Plus, a killer sense of humor.
Thrown together by coincidence, the gruff mechanic and the sweet as sin baker have instant sparks. Suddenly, all of their carefully made plans have taken a giant freakin' left turn.
And they do it on the back of a Harley.
Contains mature themes.

Really cute but some unresolved questions
Liked parts of this one a lot. A really hot love story and courtship with an awesome totally unexpected plot twist. I do feel the writing is a bit all over the place though. Parts starting without being established where they fit in the story, time going back and forth without explanation and some plot lines resolving without letting you know how or not being resolved at all, which all kind of takes away from the story. I usually like the longer stories, ‘cos you notice there being more substance, but it feels a little like instead of developing the good base story, which this truly was, more stuff was crammed in to fill out.
Liked the narration tho. Both Alex and Lauren did a great job.

Good story/Well written -
If you like Kristen Ashley’s books then you’ll like this. Very similar type of story and characters but not a poor imitation but rather more books in that style to enjoy. Motorcycles/‘rock chick’ type women/hot guys. What’s not to like

undoubtedly one if the best books I've read on Audible
I really loved, loved this story. I have listened to literally hundreds of books ob audible and this is hands down one of the best. Everything was spot on, huge tums up to the narrators as well!

Hyde & Seek
This was a first time for this author and the book was straight into its storyline. There was an abundance of character info (important for the first book of a series I guess) and the pace was pretty brisk. The storyline was complex, informative and consistent. I really enjoyed most of the story, the narrators ' voices were very easy and comfortable to listen to. I would have preferred the male narrator to have as much air time as the female frankly.

Great story
It shows two narrators but can only hear one lady narrator until the last couple of chapters. This is a great story and the narrator has a pleasant voice and is easy to listen to. Would’ve been great to have had the male narrator throughout the story. Jake is a little bit of a hot headed character. Piper is an awesome fmc. She knows her worth. Her confidence etc. the female narrator does well and isn’t comical in being the male in the story but adding him throughout would’ve been great.

She’s not like other girls
Repeated by both leads…. Why do women write other women like this? Just not enough to build a story, scenes rushed through with lots of themes around how other woman are crazy and the female lead is unbelievably perfect. Disappointing
